Musashi Miyamoto is one among samurai which is very famous, and had been considered as ‘the God of sword’ in Japan. Mushashi was born when Japan was still in civil war (onin). Musashi was known as the one that always brings two swords anywhere. When the army was dismissed by Hideyoshi and Leyasu, many of the Ronin ( samurai with no master ) wandered with no destination

Ronin lived apart from society. Samurai that time became an isolated which still holds the ancient tradition of military art of Japan. Musashi – which in the golden of Samurai is considered the best ever – kept him self as a Ronin, by searching for enlightment through kendo. That time, the rest of the Ronin had given up their life as farmers.

It was hard to be Samurai, whereas a Samurai must be able to hold hunger, pain, and suffer. They are commanded to act like there’s nothing wrong even when they hurt so badly.

It seems that the term ‘samurai’ doesn’t belong to Japanese only, it has been worldwide know. Even in the country I live, Indonesia, movies like Samurai X , Ronin the warrior, and some other samurai comics are familiar.
