Bali Bird Park Exotic Birds Conservation
Bali Bird Park is one among so many visitation and tourism object in Bali. Located in Batubulan, the district of Gianyar, Bali, Bali Bird Park offers the visitors with naturally exotic arrays, adventure, education, conservation, and fun in all matters.
Bali Bird Park lies within two hectares botanical landscape, and has become the sanctuary of almost 1000 birds from 250 different species from Indonesia and other exotic birds from Africa and South America.
Including Javanese Hawks & Serpent Eagles, endemic birds of Sumatra, Scarlet Macaw and Toucan of South Africa, Grey Parrot of Congo, and other different species from African Savannah.
In Bali Bird Park, visitors may get in touch with the birds at close range, by experiencing a hands-on communing free flight bird shows featuring majestic Eagles, Owls, Macaws, etc.
Bird nursery and observation station in Bali Bird Park is designed as an intensive captive breeding program , and has been dedicated to the conservation of rare and endangered species.


In order to support the board, some facilities like Toraja House of Bali, Papua Tropical Rainforest, deep jungle of Sumatra, Lake Kalimutu, Laku Nakuru, Rainforest café, and Jalak Bali stores are provided.

Pancur Beach, the Gravel Sand

Pancur Beach lies 8 km north of Plengkung Beach/G-land. Pancur beach considers quite unique for it’s pebble sand, which consists of gravels which comes from broken black rocks. That is why, it is very suggested to wear a footwear to walk on. The gravel sphere may cause sole-pain.
Tabuik ceremony of West Sumatra

The term ‘tabuik’ comes from Arabic ‘tabut’, which means cortege. Tabuik has been the tradition of people of West Sumatra, and holds in Asyura (10th of Month Muharram in Islamic calendar). According to local society, it is said that Tabuik is brough by Syiah of Middle East. It is actually the symbol of condolence and respect of Muslims of Pariaman Sumatra, towards Prophet Muhammad grandson ( Hussain, which was died during Karbala War).
The uniqueness of the ceremony, now has made Tabuik made as annual event, and considered as one of tourism agenda in Pariaman, Sumatra.

In addition to be used as the name of the ceremony, Tabuik is also the name of a certain figure. Tabuik is made of bamboo and wood, and shaped as horse with human head, sturdy and have wings. In Islam, this creature is called Buraq. A vertical trunk in 15m height is built on the Buraq. Tabuik then completed with some accessories which is dominated in color red.
