Lake Orumiyeh of Iran
Iran Tourism Office is developing an island, established as a special holiday place for ladies only. The goal is to provide the facility for women in their hobbies, especially swimming, without affecting the religious norm. This site was created on the basis of Islam.

In countries like Iran, women are forced to cover their body, according to a rule of Islam. The plan is, this facility is intended to be built in island of Arezou, Lake Orumiyeh, northwest of Iran.
“The idea to build this resort is heavily inspired by the success story of a woman-only-coast. There will be no man at all, from the director of public transportation, steward in a hotel restaurant staff, all women,” said Iran Tourism Department
