Hibiscus

The hibiscus seems to be quite popular plants especially in warm temperature land. It is so easy to be recognized sort of it’s large and showy flowers, with five or more petals. Ranging from white to pink, red, purple and yellow, in about 4-15 cm broad. The Hibiscus have even been some kind of national symbols and having special value in some countries.

Hibiscus is called Rosa Sinensis in Malaysia, and has been the national flower of Malaysia. Hibiscus is also the state flower of Hawaii as well as South Korea. In India, Hibiscus is used as an offering to  Goddess Kali and Lord Ganesha in Hindu worship.

Temperate regions, in Tropics or  subtropics area is probably the most widely grown ornamental species of Hibiscus syriacus.  Hibiscus, caused by its with its many showy hybrids.

    It is the national flower of Malaysia too. But, white color is something rare to find. Good explanations on this flower.
