Colosseum is located in Rome, Italy, and built from 70-82 Century. The name ‘colosseum’ was taken from a name ‘Colossus‘, a statue as high as 130 feet (40 meters). Colossus statue was rebuilt as an exchange of Nero, resemblance of Sol ( God of Sun), by adding sun crown on.
In Italy, Colosseum is named il colosseo, while in other part of Rome, colosseum is called e colisée and el coliseo. Colosseum also called Flavian Amphitheatre.
Colosseum is one of the world’s masterpiece. This site is said as the greatest and most spectacular stadium, with 48 meters high, 188 meters long, 156 meters wide, with the total area of 2.5 ha has made Colosseum looks very huge and wide. The arena is made of wood 86m x 54m, and covered by sand.

Maeniaum Primum, a layer above Podium, which made for Roman’s aristocratic. Maeniaum Primum it self then divided into three parts.
- Immum, the lowest part of Maeniaum primum which wass built for rich people/burjois
- Summum, the level under immum, which made for proletarian.
- Maeniaum Secundum in Legneis, a level which was built from wood and places in the highest layer of the building. This place is fr standing only and used for low-class women.
