As a complete vacation spot, WBL has some educational sites/spots to visit, they are Insectarium cave, shell gallery, ship galley, spot of walisongo, and the cat-house
Shell gallery
The picture above shows the collections of sea shells and the other sea creatures from other continent all over the world. From America, Europe, Australia and of course from my own country Indonesia.
IInsectarium Cave
This site told one beauty side of nature, placed in a fantastic cave. Aside from various kinds of Insects from all other part of the world, this cave also provided many kinds of chrysalis. This cave also has the lakes for turtles, and crabs.
Ship Gallery
There are several of miniatures of ships here, form traditional untill war ship, used in the era of Majapahit. The picture above is a miniature of Dewa Ruci, one of Indonesian ship that have ever traveled the world.
Maharani Cave
Maharani Cave is one nature’s cave in Maritime Vacation of Lamongan. This is an eduational site too, that tell visitors towards the greatness of nature. Till today, we can find a live stalactites and stalacnites in downside the cave and surrounds.
Cat House
An educational outlet in Maritime Vacation of Lamongan is called ‘The Cat House’. Here, the visitor will meet almost all species of cats, Persian and Anggora are some of them.
Visitors are also allowed to play, touch, carry and take pictures with the cats too. Visitors are able to see the wildness of fishing cat in finding his prey too.
Walisongo spot
Walisongo spot tells the history of the spreading of Islam in Java Island. This site also provided the miniatures of lates muslim’s scholars, and their valuable stuffs to support the spreading.
Some examples of properties here are : The Sunan Kalijogo’s tambourine/drum and the miniature of Sunan Giri’s tomb.
