Taj Mahal is a monument which is located in Agra, India. It is Built upon the desire of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the Son of Jahangir, as the symbol of love toward his beloved wife.

Shah Jahan was an emperor of Mughal Empire, whose had a huge wealth during the period. In 1631, his second wife was death while giving birth of her daughter, Gauhara Begum.

Taj Mahal Exotic Scenery

Gauhara Begum her self was the 14th children of the couple Shah Jahan and his Persian wife, Arjumand Banu Begun, whose also known as Mumtaz-ul-or also Mumtaz Mahal. Taj Mahal then used as a musoleum for Shah Jahan’s Persian wife.

The Construction of Taj Mahal had spent 23 years (1630-1653) of building, and Taj Mahal has been a masterpiece of Mughal Architechture.

As I have planned, starting from this month (February 2009) I am going to make posts NOT only about Indonesia, but also about foreign. The idea comes from the stats that I saw in my EC dashboard.
