Chichén Itzá Symbol of Worship and Science

Chichén Itzá is inheritance of Mayan archeology, which still in complete and good state. According to ‘knot of Mayan Culture’ from Chilam Balam, the temple of Chichén Itzá is built in 502-522 century, while the other version approximate this temple was made around 800 century.

The Mayan taken this temple as place to live for 200 years, before the moved to Campeche beach. Kukulkan pyramid in this temple complex is believed as the central of Mayan politics and economy, which be in Yucatan peninsula ( now Mexico ).

Pyramids Surround Giza

In addition to Cheops (Khufu) as the main pyramids, there are also some other pyramids surround Cheops. One among the small pyramids around Great pyramid of  Cheops , was used as Queen Hetepheres funeral ( found in 1925), sisters, and Sneferu ( Khufu’s wife) and mother of Khufu.

During the Giza mapping projects, more things have been discovered. Not only a funeral, but a city can be found too. Bread stores, beer manufactures, and a central of copper mining.

A few meters in south-west of Great Pyramid of Giza, there’s a smaller pyramid called Khafre Pyramid. Khafre was Khufu’s generation, and considered as one of the Great Sphinx founder.

Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest pyramid in the world, which located in Necropolis of Ancient Memphis, and now as a part of Greater Cairo, Egypt. Giza pyramid is said to be made as Firaun/ pharaoh’s cemetery, the forth dynasti of Egypt named Khufu. While the Greek called the term ‘ Khufu’ with ‘Cheops‘.

A research toward this Great Pyramid was conducted by Sir William Mathew Flider Petrie in 1881. Great pyramid of Giza was built in between more than 20 years long, and approximately last around 2560 BC. The Great pyramid of Giza is titled  ‘Khufu belongs to the Horizon’. This pyramid is also called Khufu Pyramid.
