Labuh sesaji means anchoring sacrifice. Labuh Sesaji is a part of society who’s living around Telaga Sarangan ( Lake Sarangan). Labuh sesaji is an annual event which is held on Friday Pon in Month of Ruwah.

Ruwah is a name of a month in Javanese calendar, the 8th month of Javanese calendar precisely. While Pon is one among five names in Javanese calendar which represent week counts

Lake Sarangan or also called Lake Pasir/Lake Pasir ( Telaga Pasir) lies in slope of Mount Lawu, about 16 km in the west of Magetan city in East Java Province.
